It's not for nothing that I now have my other blog where I rant for Queen and country from time to time. ;-)
Well. She was quite right.
And . . . because I signed the petition for the Obamas to turn the Whitehouse lawn into a vegetable garden, I was sent a plan of its intended layout. (Not sure the lawn is being dug up for it. If they did that, they'd have to spend all their time running a market garden instead of the U.S.A..) Well, what struck me is how fond of lettuces they must be. Rather a heavy emphasis on lettuce production, it seems. I've been wondering what they'll live on in the winter.
By the way, I've mothballed Esther in the Garden and started Esther's Boring Garden Blog instead.
