THE PHOTO I HAVE TO KEEP

Helen, the patient gardener, has done a lovely post about a photo she just has to keep on her camera, even after downloading. Her photo is of verbena and a big butterfly from a summer's afternoon with her kids that she remembers vividly.

I too have such a photo, that never leaves the camera, but mine as you can see is considerably less touching. Ahem. But on the other hand, it also tells you something about what I love.

Nice. Now, add some sliced apple, put it between two slices of tasty bread and you're really smoking.

It's a beautiful photo. I loved cheese. I loved it too much & now I can't eat it at all, so I completely understand your attachment to this photo.

You'd love Bruges then! A whole market devoted to the stuff and samples to try. Then there were all the cheese shops to peruse. I had to be dragged away...

What a lovely pile of cheese - makes me want some now but then I wont sleep tonight.
Glad you liked the idea of the post.

Less touching? My dear, it brought tears in my eyes. I do so love a bit of cheese. Old Dutch cheese, too scrumptious for words.

BTW VP, ever been to a Dutch cheese market? ;-)

After reading your comment on Helen's post - I just had to dash over here to view your cheese - and very handsome they are too

I'm not surprised you keep that on your camera it's a beautiful picture and a great subject. I would have it framed on the wall. I loved blue cheese, especially roquefort but can't eat it any more.

I keep photos of my cats and a couple of others on my camera. Great idea for a blog!

That's a great picture. I also love cheese, and I'm lucky enough to live near a Saturday market that sells organic artesian cheeses from all over Europe.

By the way, I haven't visited here in a while and the last time it seemed like you weren't posting any more. I'm glad I checked back!

You can almost smell that photo...

My kept photo is of, er, our shed.

Colleen, no need for an "er" there. Be proud.

I think we all have one, or in my case many, of these photos!

I have one that's starting to grow on me at present, which can also be seen on my blog. Its the picture of the caterpillar.

Look forward to hearing more from you!
