WORMCOUNT

The Natural History Museum is going to have us celebrating Darwin year by pouring mustard down holes so we can count the number of earthworms that pop up to complain.

Roll on March.

I'm joining in! I've asked for a pack!

I'm also trying to find out when the where and when the world worm charming championships take place - any ideas?

This is exciting news! I was thinking of volunteering today for vole counting when I read my copy of the London Wildlife Trust magazine. Now I've overcome my squeamishness about worms (courtesy of my Can O'Worms) I reckon a worm census could be fun.

Note to self - get out more.

I've volunteered as well - though I still not sure if it is kind to worms to pour mustard, even diluted mustard, over them!
